Baby Summer | Lifestyle Newborn Session

One of the best parts of my job is photographing families as they grow. I captured Amy & Eric's engagement shoot at Fort Williams Park and had the pleasure of photographing their sweet baby girl, Summer, this year.

The thing about newborn sessions is that their not perfect. At this early on in the baby's life there is no way to predict moods or sleeping schedules. So we go into the session with a relaxing and laid back plan. I'm not going to swaddle your baby up in a blanket in perfectly prop them in a basket. It's not my style. When I photograph newborns I usually do so in comfort of the family's home. I hang out with them for a few hours and photograph this new journey in a natural setting.
