Life With The Libbys | Grey's First Floral Themed Birthday | All Along You We're Blooming

It's true what they say - the days can be long but the years are so short. How the heck is our girl already one?!

Watching her grow and being her Mom is the greatest joy in my life. She amazes us every day. We love watching her learn new things and how she takes in the world around her becoming exactly who she was made to be. She makes the big adventures and little mundane routine so much more fun. She has enriched our life in every way possible.

She truly is magic. We can't wait to see what life has in store for her.

Almost a month ago we had the chance to celebrate her first birthday in our home with our close family & friends. Being the super *extra* mom and creative that I am I couldn't help but have so much fun with all the details in planning a floral themed - "All Along You Were Blooming" party for our little wildflower.

We thought we would share a peek with all of you, starting with the inspiration.

With florals being the main theme we DIY'd a baby's breath arch, floral stem wall, and lots of blooms around the desserts & drinks. For a brunch theme we had mini avocado toasts, cinnamon rolls on a stick, french toast shooters, candied bacon, egg cups, chicken and waffles, and a beautiful fruit platter from Auntie Danielle.

Although we had options for the kiddos we offered an ice coffee bar, sparkling elderflower with edible flowers, and fun floral drinks for the adults.

Thank you to Autumn Nomad for the deliciously beautiful cake & cupcakes as well as the many friends and family who helped pull this all together.

DIY Cozy Coupe Revamp

There are so many how-to articles or ideas out there on Pinterset - just search 'Cozy Coupe DIY'. We wanted to make G's car fun and on theme for her birthday party so we gave it a quick wash, light sand, and spray paint then added the decals and planters. You can really keep it as simple or extra as you want.

Here's what we used:

New or Used Little Tikes Cozy Coupe ( my mom found this on the side of the road for free)

Vinyl Decal (diy design)
