Today we are so excited to be featuring Ariana of AMC Weddings on the blog! AMC Weddings is a Full Service Luxury Wedding Planner seen in publications such as People, Style Me Pretty, Vogue Beauty, Newport Wedding Magazine, and more. We first had the chance to work with Ariana back in 2021 at the beautiful Glen Manor House and had such an incredible experience. Although we are located in Maine, we thoroughly enjoy documenting weddings across New England, with a particular fondness for Newport, Rhode Island.

Q: Tell us a little bit about you & your business:
A: I started AMC Weddings when I was only 23 years old. I have always been fascinated with weddings and always dreamed of being a wedding planner. I worked in the industry throughout college and once I graduated I decided to take a leap and launch AMC Weddings! I am now 29 years old and wouldn’t change a thing about my story!
Q: Can you tell us more about the services you offer?
A: I offer two standard packages. My most popular package is the full planning and design package. This package covers all of the planning and design aspects of the wedding so the couple can enjoy every moment of planning and even be a guest at their own wedding. The other package I offer is event management and this service begins six months prior to the wedding date and will tie together the day for the couple!
Q: How would you best describe your style and what sets you apart in the industry?
A: My style for weddings is elegant, fun, whimsical, colorful and detail oriented. I would say something that sets me apart from others in the industry is that I treat every client equally. Whether its a full planning client or an event management client they all receive the same time and attention from me.
Q: How far in advance do you recommend couples reach out to you to begin planning?
A: If a couple is looking for full planning and design they should reach out to me immediately after getting engaged and before booking their wedding date.
Q: Where do you pull your design inspiration from?
A: Pinterest is my go to!
Q: What is something you wish more couples knew when planning their wedding?
A: I wish more couples kept in mind that even though we all want their wedding day to be perfect and flawless, something is always going to go “wrong” and that may be as little as a bridesmaid forgetting their earrings. I wish everyone kept in mind that this day is about their love and celebrating with their loved ones, so don't sweat the small stuff that only you will notice!!
Q: Any design or style trends you’re looking forward to in 2024?
A: Color and bows!
Q: Is there a design or location that’s on your bucket list?
A: I would give my right arm to plan weddings in Europe. Specifically Italy and France.
