Meghan & Alex | Winter Coastal Wedding in Maine

2020 was the year of changed plans and while a lot of couples postponed their larger celebration to 2021 many couples decided to make it official with their immediate family members in 2020. I was so honored to be a part of so many incredible intimate ceremonies in 2020 and Alex & Meghan's winter wedding was one of them!

Meghan got ready at a beautiful coastal home in Perkins Cove and headed over to a church ceremony where they exchanged vows & made it official! We then headed to Ogunquit Beach for couple & family portraits (pro tip: the beach is just as beautiful in the winter). They then had an intimate reception at Chez Rosa in Kennebunkport and we wandered around Dock Square at sunset for a few more photos.

Couples like M&A and intimate celebrations like this remind me just how special my job is.

Here's what Meghan said about her experience...

"Amanda’s bright and airy photos perfectly match her beautiful personality. Besides being my cousin’s doppelgänger, Amanda felt like one of the family and was always ready to jump in to help with boutonnieres or fix a loose hair.

Planning a wedding in Maine from the West Coast, I truly appreciated all the time Amanda spent getting to know us from surveys to phone calls before our wedding day. Amanda is amazingly organized and professional! I love her attention to details and you truly must see her work to appreciate what a wonderful photographer she is. We are so lucky to relive our memories for years to come through Amanda’s incredible photography!"

To top off these kind words, when I arrived to Meghan on HER wedding day she had a birthday card & gratitude journal for me because she knew I loved them. GUYS. The amount of thoughtfulness brings me to tears.

I can never say it too many times - I love my job & I LOVE my clients.
