Rachael & Nathan's Hometown Engagement

I have this belief that everything happens for a reason.

In my last semester of college I started an internship at Maine Medical Partners to start their social media presence. Corporate (never mind healthcare) was totally out of my comfort zone as I was used to a creative small business space. But I took on the internship which led to a part-time job out of college. I could never see my future there, but it felt right at the time.

It wasn't until my Dad passed away that I realized my purpose there. Because he worked there too, we had the opportunity to spend so much more time together. Stops by my cubical, weekly lunches, and when he passed away I was surrounded by people who also knew and loved him. I never knew what it was like to have a "work family" until that moment.

Rachael was my work family. The one I shared all my lunches, complaints, and day-to-day life with. She was there for me during one of the hardest times in my life.

She is one of the sweetest most genuine humans and her heart is so big. I'm so grateful our friendship has continued past the "work family" and now I get to photograph her WEDDING.

Rachael & Nate have infectious smiles and the love they have for one another shines through these images. It was so much fun to spend a date night with the two of them. From Fuller Farms, Dairy Corner, and Pine Point Beach we got travel across their hometown to some of the favorite places to capture their engagement.
