Life With The Libbys | Favorite Moments & Details from Our Wedding

Today we are celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary! I can't believe it's already been three years since one of the most magical days of our lives. We've shared before 5 Things We Learned from Our Wedding but today we are sharing some of our favorite memories and details from our wedding because we are feeling all nostalgic over this special day.

One of my favorite memories from our wedding is that we made it more than just a day but a weekend. Renting a venue from Thursday - Monday that had enough space for our parents and full wedding party made for the ultimate celebration all weekend long. I never even had to get in a car!

We opted for no first look, I know crazy coming from a photo/video team. But can we just talk about Cole's reaction?

Appetizers all night long followed by a crepe bar for dessert. This was a fan favorite.

Sparkler re-entrance into our tent after sunset photos to "Love Me Like You Do"

Sneaking a peek at my reception tent before the ceremony - cue the ugly happy cry.

Celebrated my Dad in a way that felt right to me. I didn't want our wedding to feel like a memorial to him. So celebrating him through a letter and toast followed by getting everyone on the dance floor was so perfect. Not to mention the double rainbow that I'm sure he had something to do with.

Dancing with my Mom. It was epic. It went viral on Tik Tok. You gotta watch it.

Custom ceremony that was SO us. We also had our parents sit on opposite sides so that they could see us better and had our wedding party sit and enjoy the ceremony too.

Not so perfect attire for our wedding party. We let our guys wear their own navy suits so that they didn't have to buy something if they already had one and we let our girls choose their own dusty blue dress. I loved that our wedding party's style was cohesive without being too matchy.

The moment our friends lifted us in the air to "Crazy in Love."

The wild rain storm that came crashing down 30 minutes prior to the ceremony but opened up to clear bright sun as I walked down the aisle to "Here Comes the Sun". More rain followed by a double rainbow. It was so beautiful.

Hired a kick ass team of vendors. They seriously made our dream come to life. Read more about us gushing over them in this blog post.

Honestly this list could go on and on because I truly feel like we had the most magical weekend celebration.

Cheers to many more! XO
